Varnishing begins
It has been almost a year since I have done extensive varnishing and it is a beautiful art to get involved with again. The engine compatment covers are at home for a few coats of Interlux Satin varnish and new companionway step coverings from Treadmaster. Over the next year, i will refinish all of the interior teak (and there is A LOT of it) with the satin varinish, giving the interior a warmer feel (as opposed to the glossy "Captain" varnish that is on some of the woodwork now.)
